About

Hey, my name is Jamie Bere and I am a professional photographer.

Inspired by the way light dances across architecture

My journey into photography began quite naturally while on holiday. I found myself constantly drawn to the architecture around me—the lines, textures, and light that gave each building its own personality. I started taking photos just for fun, trying to capture the way those spaces made me feel, and before long, I was completely hooked. It sparked my love for being creative and expressing myself through images, and that passion has only grown stronger ever since.

I live in Wellington, Somerset, with my wife in a lovely old Georgian house. We’ve been married for six wonderful years, and it’s a place that always feels full of warmth, creativity, and character.

Photography is what truly makes me happy. I actually started my career in a completely different world—first training as a kitchen and bathroom designer, and later working as a builder. Those experiences taught me to appreciate good design, structure, and the beauty of details, which all feed into the way I see and capture the world through my camera today.

I’m a really relaxed and easy-going person, and I like to keep things simple and stress-free when I’m photographing. Whether I’m working with people or properties, I try to blend into the background—you’ll often barely notice I’m there! I’m always polite, helpful, and happy to get stuck in wherever I can. For me, nothing is ever too much trouble.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me playing badminton or football, painting, or heading out for a long walk to enjoy the fresh air and the beauty of nature. I love being outdoors and find it’s where I get most of my inspiration.
